Help on the organization? (Music and laptops)?
Well, with winter setting in and a wonderful onslaught of cabin fever, I've taken to organize my art room … a task at best. heavy I have two big problems: 1). I play and write music, so I have a lot of music and music books recumbent. Watch as the two bookcases I have been full I do not know where to put any of it. The room is relatively small, and currently all my music is kept in a range of backpacks. Any help on how to save music books and sheet music? I need them to be accessible, organized and safe. 2nd) I also enjoy writing, so I have a number of laptops and comp. books. Putting them on a shelf, is frustrating, because I can not tell any of them apart and I end up take them out one by one to find the one I want. They are currently just stacked on a desk. Is there anyway to keep notebooks, which is nice without tearing them up? I would like to thank everyone in advance and any other organization tips in general would be appreciated!
The best way to reduce paper and organize is to buy a scanner. Scan your stuff on your computer and keep a copy of it somewhere else. Also, any writing you do from now on, do on a word processor. You can get a free Microsoft Office-like program from http://www.openoffice.org You can also buy a music writing program to do the same for your compositions.
