Strong — but overweight 15/f?
I just got weighed — clocked in at a whopping 139 (10 more lbs since I last weighed myself). I’m a short person. 5 foot 3. My BMI is on the very high scale of Average Weight.
But the thing is– it isn’t fat weight. (I don’t think). I’m strong.
I play softball and I dance in musicals. (I know it’s a weird combo). I can run a mile in 7:30 and I can bench about 50 lbs.
Yet, I’m covered in a layer of fat. My abs are hard — but don’t look like it. My legs have some fat and yet they can do wall sits for ever. pwrjojewf It’s so annoying.
Is anyone else in a similar position — or can anyone offer advice? Should I lose weight? Should I diet….
Since you are only 15, your body is still becoming an adult. I was 210 in high school, and I have slimmed, and trimmed in the last 6 years and everything is where it should be.
You said you played sports? That will had to muscular legs. Be proud of them!
I wouldn’t suggest a diet. Just look at what you eat/drink daily. Do you enjoy regular soda? Maybe switch it up to Dt of more water. Do you munch in the afternoon? Look at what you are reaching for.
You’ll see many actors/actresses that look pudgier when they were younger. Hillary Duff comes to my mind. And look how she shaped up! I’m sure she had a trainer, but with a few modifications to daily life, anyone can trim and tone.
