Where can I buy a High Outtput alternator for a 1988 Acura Legend? 200 amps or more
Yeah i have a 88 Acura Legend i have had a 200 amp alternator installed and i guess i just gave up cas my battery light came on and im not one for playing music while the car isnt running. i’ve put a 1/0 gauge power wire from my alternator to my battery for better current movement because my stock wire wasnt replaced. so does anyone know where i can buy a high output alternator (200 amps or higher)? or does anybody see anything im doing wrong let me know PLEASE!
200 amps is quite a large alt> As the belts and pullys unless matched will have issues> And you need battery’s to except that much charge> Besides that much pull on the engine must be like towing a trailer>A 100 amp alt should be enough for most draws> Ask stereo shops what they use when installing large amps>Did you also install a 1/0 ground cable from the alt to the battery>
