Does anyone know where I can find dvd quality music videos to download?
Most of the ones i have found on Limewire are rubbish quality and have just been recorded of the tv. I am looking to download them straight of a website rather than file sharing programs. Any help will be appreciated.
lime wire, kazzaa, and all that stuff is crap and riddled with viruses. You need to go with torrents, and get an xvid player, not divx. You can get a codec pack from the net for xvid, includes dolby digital and etc, or I just prefer the free VLC video player, plays anything.
Ok, first thing first, go google the azureus torrent client, and download it. Next, check the ports and forward the ports to your computer, lots of info on how to forward torrent ports on the net.
Go to VCDquality.com, you can not download here, but you can get a ranking on quality, next go to mininova.org, or isohunt.com or thepiratebay.org, download the torrent file and launch it with azureus, and it initates your download. All clean files.
Now, for an overview..
Cam= well, someone took a camera in.. usually really bad
TS= Telesync, someone took a cam, but got audio off a earphone jack for the diabled.
TC=Telecine, literally a cpy of the real, good quality usually
DVD-Rip= You Guessed it
R5= Becoming popular, they are from russia, lower grade DVD but nice quality.
Screener= normally swiped from the studio, but some pass it off as they snuck a cam into the screening. If it is from the studio, it will be scrolling letter across the bottem saying property of blah blah.
Then, XVID, well, that is DVD quality at like 700 Meg. VCD/SVC are cd formats that play in your dvd player. either way, best way is to get the xvid, watch it on your computer or convert it.
Also, before you download… Read any comments, they normally say if it is good or bad, or in some other language, hate downloading a movie for a day to find out it is great quality but in russian.
