Help-I have just washed my iPod nano – 3rd generation!?
My iPod went through the wash last night. I heard it clattering around in the machine and so I managed to rescue it before it had a full wash. I left it to dry today, but getting a little impatient I tried to turn it on and I when it didn’t I plugged it into the computer. It works and plays music when it is plugged in but the screen shakes sometimes and when I unplug it the screen then dies! There is also washing powder under the screen as I can see a large white blob. I really don’t want to have to get a new one as I like mine and I’m annoyed as I paid so much for it. Any suggestions?

you should NOT have tried so soon.. but if you can see crap under the screen… its porbably worse. Most likely the battery has shorted (thats why it shuts down as soon as you unplug it)
you COULD try getting a new battery for it…. might be ok since it does work when plugged in.
