Should I buy an MPC1000 or a Yamaha Motif?
I am in search of a new piece of equipment for my music production and am looking for something that has lots and lots of quality sounds. I have been considering an MPC1000, but realize that the MPC will only be as good as the samples I program into it. I’m looking for sort of a “go to” machine that can aid in layering of tracks along with providing solid leads and original sounds. Is the MPC that useful of a piece of equipment? Is the Motif (any model) versatile and professional sounding?
I’d appreciate anyone’s opinion on the MPC1000 or the Motif, or both! Thanks!
