Music notation software?
I’m looking for some music notation software. I need one that can do full band plus percussion. I do not need anything to score rock songs or such since I have Guitar Pro already. I don’t have any money, so it would be appreciated if it is freeware, hopefully as close to finale as can be. I have a mac. Thanks for the help!
You could try Overture 4.1. It’s my preferred choice for a music notation software and the only place I know of where you can get it for free is at:

It shouldn’t be to hard to install it but I’ll go through it anyway (because I spent 3 hours figuring it out.)
1. You download it (obviously) which is free.
2. Extract the file and then open the folder. There should be a icon that says “install’ or something of the sort. The rest is then pretty straightforward but if you have trouble with the registration number, it should be on a document with the folder.
