Where can I get a standard 50/50 plate contracts between label / producer & featured artist (s)? Free templates?
I am a music producer / artist / independent record label manager. I need a simple contract between myself and guest vocalists. The agreement is simple-all costs deducted from the total profit from each track they appear on, then split 50/50 between me and the displayed artist (s). For example, if there are two guest vocalists, 50% for me, 25% separately, ie. Producer sheep 50%, other 50% is distributed among featured artists. I live in England so I want the contract that are relevant to UK law. Everyone knows where I can get a contract as this for free? Is there a template contacts like this available? THANKS!
I did a search on www.dogpile.com using keywords' can downloadable legal document templates "and got some results. You can try the same, but adds the UK to the keywords. Some of these sites are pay sites, but they Most are free. Good luck!:) Here are some of my findings:
