And what is a good place in Chicago for a music industry internship?
Hands down – New York City! If you want to go into the music industry (music industry, recording, etc.) this is the center of it all. When I had my music internship in NYC, I was working with a major label, and it was incredible! From artists who come into the office (James Blunt, TI) for after work parties and social events, I would recommend that if you're serious about breaking into the music business, you come to New York City. For my internship, I have the InternNYC program. They help me get my internship, housing, social events, and even transportation.
