Is it worth buying a turntable these days?
I want to get back into vinyl but I just dont know if it is worth it.I have no records right now but I want to do it for the better sound then cd’s can offer..I was looking at get a music hall 2?2 and I just want to know if its worth it?
Consider these points:
1 Have YOU noticed the difference in sound quality?
Have you made this decision because you’ve listened to vinyl lately and “wowed” at the sound quality? Because if your just basing this on others opinions I really wouldn’t bother.
2 Do you have a decent sound system?
Because if not its quite likely you won’t notice the difference anyway.
3 Have you tried switching to a higher quality digital sound format? If not give it a go before spending money on expensive equipment. Try FLAC (acronym for Free Lossless Audio Codec).
