Best concert you've ever been to?
Tell me all about it and why it was special to you. Mine was Glen Phillips and Mozella at The Great American Music Hall. Glen Phillips was the lead singer of Toad the Wet Sprocket, a band I've loved since I was a kid and I never got a chance to see him alive. He went solo, and I finally got to see him. I got a great seat on the balcony above the stage. He did an all acoustic set and blew me away and played all my favorite Toad songs and his new stuff. The opening act was a singer from Detroit named Mozella and she was incredible. After the show I got to meet her and get her autograph on one of her CDs.
l would have to say ACDC, I've been lucky enough to see them many times but it was when Bon Scott was still lead singer. My friends and I would always be in front of the stage, we could touch them, we were so close. That was pretty long ago though, it was in Melbourne Australia damn they were great, was Angus makes his schoolboy stuff, Bon Scott was just fantastic wow look where they are now .. They played at various venues around Melbourne, we were always ready to see those tickets were around $ 5 and there was no security will neither all go out, and all had invisible guitars lol ……. l think we were lucky.
