Microphone not being detected by computer.?
I recently received a “Podcastudio”, which includes a “mixer” that you plug headphones, a microphone, and a USB cable (all came included) into. With everything plugged in, I can talk into the microphone and hear it in the headphones, but when trying to use any audio recording equipment (Audacity, Music Creator 5, and even the sound recorder built into the computer), no sound is detected. Does anybody know what might be the matter?
Go into your advanced audio properties in settings/control panel/audio devices/audio/sound recording and I bet your mic is muted.
