what is a good music creater?

I would like to make a song on the computer but I don’t know what software to use. I have tried things like band in a box but that stuff is to complicated. I need something that can play certant notes while having other stuff like drum beats in the background. Can anyone help?

there is the standard version and Beta version available
both are 100 % free to use

I used a long neck Epi guitar with 1972 Les Paul pickups
and nice titanium intonation block to sample about
450 mono tracks into audacity

after about 6 hrs here’s what I made
from nothing but guitar notes
